COMMEMORATIVE CELEBRATION

6:00 p.m. at the flag pole

On September 4, 2009, the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church was called home to heaven. Wayne Giles gave his life in service to Jesus Christ and also to our country.

Pastor Giles retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years of honorable service to our country.

Trinity Baptist Church has raised a flag pole and will unveil a plaque to honor Pastor Giles and the other men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. To further enhance this commemorative celebration, members of Honor and Remember will be with us to present a 'Honor and Remember' flag to fly beneath the American flag on our flag pole.


We invite everyone in our community to be a part of this special honor.

After the presentation of the flags, we will further honor Pastor Giles and celebrate our military men and women with a picnic and entertainment on the grounds of Trinity Baptist Church.

Opening Prayer for the celebration will be at 6:00 p.m.
